Work Environment

Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and rehabilitation equipment, providing a supportive onsite environment that allows for direct patient engagement. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, orthopedic specialists, and rehabilitation aides, to create a cohesive treatment approach that addresses each patient's unique needs. The work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations to assess patients' physical therapy needs, identifying their strengths and limitations.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on best practices and each patient's specific goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery and improve functional outcomes.
• Instruct patients on appropriate exercise techniques, emphasizing injury prevention and wellness strategies.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed to accommodate changes in condition or response to therapy.
• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, communicating effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population includes motivated individuals ranging from athletes to everyday individuals seeking to regain their strength and mobility after injuries or surgeries. The role allows you to develop strong therapeutic relationships, fostering patients' trust and encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the State of California.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; advanced degrees such as a Doctor or Master of Physical Therapy (DPT/MPT) are preferred.
• Proven experience of at least 2 years in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on patient engagement and education.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Preferred Experience

• Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
