Description

• Deliver specialized speech therapy interventions targeting communication skills, language development, fluency, voice training, and swallowing assistance.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care strategies.
• Instruct patients and family members on practice techniques to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless transition throughout the care continuum.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation aligned with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the field through continuous education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Successful completion of a clinical fellowship year (CFY), if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
