Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in need of physical therapy, creating tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments of their conditions and recovery needs.
• Implement diverse therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and the use of modalities, to enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Monitor, document, and track patients' progress using electronic health records to ensure comprehensive treatment histories and facilitate effective communication within the care team.
• Reassess patients regularly, adjusting treatment plans and goals as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and optimize recovery outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about injuries, recovery processes, and home exercises to enhance their understanding of care strategies and empower them in their recovery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, providing insights and feedback on patient progress and needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including workshops and continuing education, to maintain current knowledge in the field and adherence to best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will serve a diverse patient population, including children and adults of various ages and diagnoses. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
