You will work closely with individuals to improve their movement capabilities, emphasizing a comprehensive approach that includes prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The role is situated in an onsite rehabilitation facility where you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient care and rehabilitation. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and resources to support a diverse range of physical therapy practices. As part of our team, you will enjoy a structured schedule, with working hours from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and establish tailored treatment plans that address individual goals and capabilities.
• Maintain a focused patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring quality and individualized attention.
• Utilize effective therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise progression, to enhance patient mobility.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, using EMR software like WebPT to streamline patient management workflows.
• Encourage patient engagement through motivation and education, guiding them towards achieving optimal physical functionality.
• Foster a collaborative environment by consulting with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
• Contribute to the development of wellness and fitness programs that are specifically designed to meet the needs of each patient.
• Evaluate and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress and feedback, ensuring therapeutic goals are met.
• Advocate non-invasive, cost-effective treatment options to minimize medication reliance and to promote patient wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your ability to foster a positive therapeutic relationship will be critical in encouraging patients throughout their recovery journeys, ultimately seeking to improve their overall quality of life and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with no record of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice.
• Expertise in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, providing a solid foundation for patient interaction and treatment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and patient management.
• A record of success in developing fitness and rehabilitation plans that align with patient goals.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that supports you in your professional and personal life. Benefits include:
