Key Responsibilities

In this role as a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Consulting with patients to comprehensively assess their physical health, understand their specific symptoms, and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and leveraging your clinical expertise to create effective rehabilitation strategies that improve patient mobility and quality of life.
• Teaching patients proper techniques for therapeutic exercises to enhance their recovery and facilitate independence.
• Administering various therapeutic modalities, including massage and manual therapy, to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assisting patients with mobility aids such as wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring they learn to navigate their environments safely.
• Maintaining detailed patient records and tracking progress toward rehabilitation goals using our digital health record system.
• Providing expert advice to patients and their families regarding appropriate in-home treatments and exercises they can implement for continued improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of patients, from children with developmental challenges to adults recovering from surgery or injury. Your expertise will help us create a supportive environment that promotes healing and empowers individuals to achieve their recovery goals.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with word processing and electronic medical record systems.
• A strong adaptability to various clinical situations, demonstrating flexibility and agility in treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience

We require a minimum of two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care. While no previous experience is necessary, candidates with a background in outpatient rehabilitation or specialized pediatric care will be given preference.
