Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist (Ortho) at Pro Motion Rehab Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate physical conditions and therapeutic needs.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that incorporate various modalities, including strength training, stretching exercises, hands-on therapy, and therapeutic equipment.
• Implementing treatment plans in patients' homes, ensuring a practical and supportive environment for rehabilitation.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously, tracking treatments, responses, and outcomes, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educating patients and their families about rehabilitation procedures, assistive devices, and self-care techniques to enhance autonomy.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, caregivers, and other health professionals to coordinate effective patient care.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge through ongoing professional education and collaboration within professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will work closely with patients to achieve functional independence, mobility, and pain management, tailoring each therapy session to their individual capabilities and health objectives.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for documentation and reporting.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to patient care, demonstrating agility in addressing different patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not mandatory, experience in home health care or orthopedic rehabilitation will be viewed favorably. We are particularly interested in candidates who exhibit a strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
