Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, providing in-home care to patients within the beautiful North Port area. You will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule while making meaningful contributions to the lives of our clients. Our facility emphasizes a collaborative approach, where Physical Therapists work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Physical Therapist encompasses a variety of functions focused on improving patient outcomes, including:

• Assessing patient needs through thorough evaluations and consultations focused on their personal healthcare journey.
• Managing a patient load of one session per hour, allowing you to dedicate the necessary time and attention to each individual.
• Developing and implementing detailed treatment plans that utilize a range of therapeutic techniques to maximize function and recovery.
• Employing cost-effective therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility and increase the quality of life while minimizing the need for medication or surgery.
• Motivating patients to engage actively in their rehabilitation process, providing encouragement and support throughout their treatment.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously to ensure accurate healthcare records and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide well-rounded care that addresses all aspects of patients' health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. You will guide clients through evidence-based interventions designed to restore strength, flexibility, and mobility, ultimately enhancing their ability to engage in daily activities and lifestyle pursuits.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with an emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation. A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with a clean disciplinary record.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design individualized exercise programs.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to facilitate accurate documentation and data management.

Preferred Experience

While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, those with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings will be highly favored. A history of implementation and optimization of successful patient-centered treatment programs will set you apart in this competitive field.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD $75,000 to $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, you will receive:
