This position is fully remote, allowing for a dynamic balance between work and personal commitments. You will conduct virtual therapy sessions from your home or preferred workspace, enabling you to connect with clients across various locations. The scheduled work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a consistent routine.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, using structured intake methods to gather pertinent information.

• Provide evidence-based therapy sessions via state-of-the-art telehealth platforms, utilizing approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or other modalities tailored to client needs.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in mental health treatment, attending professional development workshops and reading current literature to enhance service delivery.

• Document client interactions and progress notes efficiently in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

As a Mental Health Counselor at New Patterns Therapy, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Our clients may present with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Understanding the unique backgrounds, cultural contexts, and individual circumstances of each client is vital for delivering tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Possession of a valid California LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC license is essential for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
