Automotive Accounting / Title Clerk

Bob-Boyd Lincoln, Inc. has an immediate need to hire an experienced Automotive Accounting / Title Clerk to process and file paperwork to establish or transfer the ownership of a vehicle. We value our employees and invest in their success. We offer:

Responsibilities – Accounting / Title Clerk:

• Process daily bank deposit.
• Manage petty cash and issue receipts
• Break down and post car deals including wholesales
• Manage early bird/old lease payments
• Process and distribute documents related to vehicle purchases.
• Process and file paperwork to establish or transfer the ownership of a vehicle.
• Process title work for new and used cars, get license plates and mail them to customers where necessary.
• Maintain strict compliance with all title laws and filing requirements.
• Troubleshoot and problem resolution specific to titles, odometer discrepancies, power of attorney, etc.
• Communicate with customers and the county clerk’s office on related issues.
• Stock in cars
• Process sales tax, check schedules and journals and compare gross
• Verify inventory to accounting to MSO to jackets
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements – Accounting / Title Clerk:

• Automotive Title Clerk experience preferred but we will train
• Accounting experience preferred but we will train
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• A positive attitude and professional appearance
• Excellent customer relations and service.
