Production Technician - 1st Shift

Envision Technology, an innovative small business providing advanced electro-optical solutions for defense applications, seeks a Production Technician. In this role, you are responsible for providing engineers with support, assembly, diagnostics, aligning, testing, and configuring optical, electrical, and mechanical components. Shift Hours : Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, and every other Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm Perform electronics and opto-mechanical assembly, disassembly, and rework, including soldering. Create work instructions, assembly instructions, and test plans. Work from complex wiring and assembly drawings, engineering sketches, plans, specifications, and test procedures. Test prototype assemblies and production units. Inspect assembled units and evaluate test results. Interpret and follow documents such as SOPs and safety rules. Work closely with engineers and program management to meet program goals. Opportunities for mechanical design and software generation. Qualifications: Associate degree or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or 5 years equivalent work experience. Assembly experience in electronics rework, mechanical assembly, and optical assembly. Basic understanding of electric circuits, multimeters, oscilloscopes, amp meters, and hand tools. Attention to detail, neatness of work performed, and being creative. Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment. Ability to work alone and with others, with self-motivation and a can-do attitude. Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently. #J-18808-Ljbffr Envision Technology, LLC.
