Inspector - Non Destructive Testing

Position Overview Inspector – Non Destructive Testing Company: Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) offers a Nondestructive Test (NDT) Inspector – Radiography (RT) role located in Ridley Park, PA. The candidate will conduct NDT on aerospace products utilizing radiography, ultrasonic, and other cutting‑edge methods. The position requires obtaining Boeing NDT certification, passing a vision exam, and maintaining certification throughout employment. Work Environment May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, and smoke (within OSHA limits). Requires work in a radiation environment. Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and be able to stand 90% of the time, stoop, bend, stretch, and lift up to 35 lbs. Position Responsibilities Set up specialized NDT equipment. Develop procedures and processes. Perform tests or inspections and collect data. Document, analyze, and communicate results; assist with corrective action recommendations. Provide feedback on adverse trends. Assure non‑destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to product. Conduct certification preparation training; supervise trainees and LevelI NDT-certified personnel. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Formal, documented hours of NDT training/experience or military equivalent. Current or previous (within the last 2 years) NDT certification in RT. Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Preferred Qualifications LevelIII certification in RT. Additional NDT certifications, including ET. Other Requirements Must be a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. Position is 100% onsite; hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement. Must satisfy Boeing’s Export Control compliance requirements. Drug‑free workplace; subject to testing. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $41.45 – $56.01. Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities.
