Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,089 – $2,242 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Start date: 10/01/2026 Shift: Days/Nights Setting: small critical access hospital travel assignment Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, evidence-based emergency nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in the ER Perform rapid triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring; administer medications and IV therapies as ordered; interpret monitoring results Collaborate with ED physicians, charge nurses, and interprofessional teams to coordinate care across ER, inpatient units, swing bed, observation status, and outpatient therapies Document assessments, plans, procedures, and patient education accurately in the medical record; ensure safety protocols and infection control practices are followed Respond to evolving patient conditions with appropriate emergency interventions; elevate to physicians and supervisors as needed Facilitate discharge planning and patient/family education, ensuring clear instructions and referrals for follow-up care Requirements ER experience required BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC certification preferred Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment across ER, inpatient, swing bed, observation, and outpatient therapies Flexibility to work Days/Nights and adapt to a small critical access hospital setting Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate across multiple units and disciplines Benefits and Support Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract length: 13 weeks Start date: 10/01/2026 Travel assignment in a rural, critical access setting Travel-focused assignment support through the employing organization #J-18808-Ljbffr
