About the Organization Our client is a prominent, mission-driven non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential housing, supportive services, and community stability across San Francisco. We are seeking an energetic, community-minded recruiter to help expand their team with passionate talent committed to social impact. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: 2 to 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience (prior experience in a non-profit, social services, housing, or healthcare environment is highly preferred). High-Volume & Diversity Sourcing: Proven track record of sourcing and filling high-volume or hard-to-fill roles with a strong commitment to recruiting diverse talent. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) (e.g., Paycom, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar) and recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed). Union Environment Awareness: Familiarity with hiring within a unionized workforce or under Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) is a strong plus. Communication & Engagement: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with an approachable, empathetic demeanor suitable for a mission-driven culture. Compliance & Clearances: Understanding of San Francisco labor regulations (such as the Fair Chance Ordinance). Must be able to pass background screening and complete annual TB screening. salary: $40 - $46 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for entry-level through mid-management positions across residential housing, social services, case management, and administrative teams. Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, social media, and community networks to proactively source candidate pipelines, with a strong focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Hiring Manager Partnership: Consult with Program Directors and Hiring Managers to understand staffing needs, refine job descriptions, craft interview guides, and establish clear hiring timelines. Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial resume screens, perform phone interviews, and coordinate panel/hiring manager interviews to ensure candidates align with both technical requirements and organizational values. Community & Network Engagement: Attend local job fairs, build relationships with local universities, vocational programs, and community organizations to establish a robust local talent network in San Francisco. Onboarding Collaboration: Partner with the HR team to ensure seamless transition from job offer acceptance through background checks, pre-employment screenings, and initial onboarding.
