Overview The Role: Mid-Market Account Executive specializing in General Contractors at Clearstory. You will drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle—from initial outreach to signed contracts—while delivering an exceptional experience to prospective customers. A hunter mentality, consultative approach, and the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels are essential. Key outcomes you will own and drive Engage & Build Relationships - Proactively connect with construction professionals to understand challenges, uncover pain points, and identify opportunities to provide impactful solutions Exceed Sales Targets - Consistently achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly sales activity and revenue goals Own the Full Sales Cycle - Lead accounts from initial outreach through business development, prospecting, product specifications, contract negotiations, and signing Strategically Expand Territory - Develop data-driven prospecting plans to build a strong pipeline and create new business opportunities Research & Identify Key Players - Map accounts, engage decision-makers, generate interest, and uncover requirements Deliver Compelling Product Demonstrations - Conduct value-driven virtual and in-person software presentations Become a Trusted Expert - Develop a deep understanding of Clearstory’s platform, competitive landscape, and industry trends Requirements Must-Haves High-Energy, Results-Driven Team Player Proven Sales Excellence - 5+ years of demonstrated software sales success, preferably B2B Quota-Crushing Track Record Consultative Selling Expertise Pipeline & Forecasting Mastery Outstanding Communicator Entrepreneurial & Adaptable Relationship Builder Industry Knowledge (Preferred) - Commercial Construction Education & Experience - BA/BS or equivalent preferred About You We value core characteristics that align with Clearstory’s mission and culture.
