Business Development Officer

We are looking for a Business Development Officer to expand maintenance service business across the Fife, Washington market. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales specialist who understands mechanical and plumbing service environments and can quickly build credibility with commercial clients. The position is primarily remote, with regular local travel to client locations and occasional visits to the office, and offers strong quarterly commission potential for consistent performance.Responsibilities:• Create and carry out a territory growth strategy focused on securing recurring maintenance agreement business.• Generate new leads through outreach efforts, referrals, networking, and ongoing market analysis to uncover strong opportunities.• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, next steps, pipeline activity, and revenue projections.• Build a healthy book of business by developing and advancing a sales pipeline valued at or above established targets.• Connect with key stakeholders such as facility leaders, property managers, engineers, business owners, and operations teams to understand service needs.• Arrange and lead introductory discussions and on-site facility reviews to identify maintenance opportunities.• Develop and deliver tailored service agreement proposals for mechanical and plumbing maintenance programs.• Advise customers on maintenance solutions that strengthen equipment performance, minimize operational interruptions, and support cost control.• Negotiate contract terms in a way that supports customer value while protecting pricing standards and profitability goals.The salary range for this position is $90k to $130k.
