Position Overview:

As an Accounts Payable Clerk , you will play a crucial role in managing our accounting processes. Your hands-on experience and versatility will ensure smooth operations in accounts payable and support. 

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle A/P processing experience- Automotive a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and follow-through, with the ability to work both in a team and independently.

Core Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage the full cycle of accounts payable processing.
• Audit vendor invoices for accuracy in quantity and pricing, obtaining necessary approvals before payment.
• Collaborate with the shipping/receiving team to ensure compliance with established processes.
• Coordinate with various departments regarding new vendor setups and purchase order approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any issues with vendors.
• Create entries related to accounts payable, including month-end accruals.
• Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers with the general ledger monthly.
• Understand GL structure to accurately classify expenses by business entity, department, and GL account.
• Cross-train in A/R invoicing and cash application for backup coverage.
