Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to establish mental health diagnoses, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Maintain an active caseload, with a target of at least 27 client sessions per week, ensuring consistent and compassionate care.

• Document clinical interactions and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner in compliance with organizational policies.
\n
• Engage in collaborative care with interdisciplinary teams, coordinating treatment efforts with case managers, medical personnel, and school staff to support client well-being.

• Utilize innovative therapeutic techniques and interventions to help clients not only meet but exceed their personal mental health goals.

• Participate in regular clinical staff meetings and training sessions to promote professional development and team cohesion.
\n
• Contribute positively to team culture, enhancing the supportive environment in which we strive to provide services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapy services primarily focus on children, adolescents, and families, addressing various mental health challenges. The therapist will engage with a diverse client base, including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and bilingual families, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all clients. Your role will significantly contribute to enhancing these individuals’ quality of life, promoting resilience and healthy coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) PA clinical license is mandatory.

• Proficiency in completing clinical documentation, including comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills that facilitate effective interaction with clients and team members.

• A demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries while fostering supportive client relationships.

• Experience working with a diverse population, respecting the unique needs of each individual.

• Familiarity with Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is an added advantage.

• Must pass a background check to ensure a safe environment for clients and families.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting focused on family therapy and adolescent counseling is highly desirable.
