Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-informed methodologies tailored to meet the needs of each client.
• Regularly assess and monitor client progress in aligning with their treatment goals, making necessary adjustments to their care plans.
• Coordinate intervention strategies alongside interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.
• Engage with the medical team regarding clients admitted to the hospital, providing necessary insights into their mental health conditions and treatment needs.
• Proactively identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder client recovery, employing therapeutic techniques grounded in compassion and empathy.
• Support family members and caregivers in managing behavioral challenges, equipping them with strategies to foster a conducive environment for their loved ones’ recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients dealing with a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related issues, and relational conflicts. Your ability to build rapport will be essential, as you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their emotional landscapes, providing them with the tools they need to achieve stability and growth.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) status in Washington State is a must.
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling with a focus on therapeutic techniques that facilitate client engagement and healing.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to convey complex concepts with clarity and empathy.
• Strong interpersonal skills characterized by a sympathetic approach to client interactions.
• Relevant mental health training, certifications, or specialized courses that enhance your counseling practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a remote environment and utilizing telehealth systems effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology as it relates to mental health treatment.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in an outpatient setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package based on experience and productivity, with an annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 101,000.
