LOCATION REQUIREMENT: Candidates must be currently located in California. Strong preference for the San Francisco Bay Area; Southern California and Sacramento-area candidates will also be considered.

Position Overview

BEARCloud pays in the highest echelon of compensation in its category, especially for firms in the VAR 500 or INC 5000 which we are. We recently we ranked # 124 by INC magazine for AI services. We are looking for an experienced, relationship-driven Account Executive to develop new business and grow long-term client partnerships. This person will identify opportunities, connect with business and technology leaders, understand their needs, and bring the right BEARCloud resources and solutions to the table.

The ideal candidate has existing client relationships and is looking to deliver more solutions and make a higher percentage of gross profit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent business through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, industry relationships, and prospecting.
• Build relationships with executives, technology leaders, hiring managers, procurement teams, and other key decision-makers.
• Learn each client's business, challenges, priorities, and upcoming initiatives.
• Identify opportunities across BEARCloud's technology solutions and talent services.
• Partner closely with recruiting, delivery, technical, and leadership teams to develop the right solution for each client.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Develop account strategies and maintain an active, accurate pipeline.
• Expand existing relationships by identifying additional departments, projects, and business needs.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, pricing, and statements of work.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure commitments and follow-up items are completed.
• Stay current on technology, workforce, and market trends that may affect clients.
• Represent BEARCloud at meetings, networking events, conferences, and industry activities.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of successful account management, or technology sales experience.
• Experience selling technology solutions, professional services, consulting, or staffing
• Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and maintain a sustainable book of business.
• Strong network of business or technology contacts is mandatory
• Comfortable communicating with executives as well as technical and operational teams.
• Strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Able to manage multiple opportunities, priorities, and client relationships simultaneously
• Self-motivated, persistent, organized, and accountable.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to stay involved after the sale.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
