The Janitorial Worker will maintain clean, sanitary, and safe conditions across office buildings, schools, or campuses. Reporting to the Janitorial Supervisor, this role supports routine daily cleaning and deep-cleaning rotations across first- and second-shift schedules, with opportunities to advance to Janitorial Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain facility areas, including offices, schools, and campuses.
• Disinfect surfaces and follow established sanitation procedures.
• Perform floor care using appropriate cleaning methods and equipment.
• Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Remove waste and maintain orderly, hygienic work areas.
• Operate cleaning and floor-care equipment safely.
• Respond promptly to spills and other immediate cleaning needs.
• Follow safety requirements, including proper PPE usage and hazard communication practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in janitorial services.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and sanitation procedures.
• Familiarity with floor-care equipment.
• Understanding of hazard communication and PPE usage.
• Strong time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work performance.
