Senior Program Manager

Amgen seeks a Senior Program Manager to support R&D Quality leadership by coordinating strategic priorities, operational execution, and transformation initiatives across clinical research and quality functions. The role translates enterprise strategy into actionable plans while driving organizational effectiveness and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Partner with capability leaders to develop and execute annual strategic priorities and operating plans with measurable deliverables
- Coordinate execution of organizational priorities across multiple functions using standardized governance and business processes
- Co-lead planning and execution of leadership team meetings, portfolio reviews, and organizational forums
- Support functional transformation initiatives and operationalize enterprise priorities into actionable implementation plans
- Improve organizational effectiveness through standardized processes, governance practices, and knowledge management systems
Requirements
- Program or project management experience in complex, regulated environments
- Strategic planning and operational execution capability
- Experience translating enterprise strategy into coordinated operations
- Strong organizational effectiveness and process improvement skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience managing organizational change and transformation initiatives
