Facilities Technician II

Westborough, MA 01581 Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician II to join their team. As a Facilities Technician II, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the maintenance and improvement of manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization. Location: Westborough, MA Pay Range: $18 What's the Job? Perform troubleshooting activities for manufacturing facilities, using data and observations to assist in diagnosing issues. Conduct hardware inspections, identify discrepancies, and document findings to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Assist in maintaining and updating facility-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting process improvements and changes. Support small-scale process improvement initiatives such as 6S or defect reduction projects within the facility environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing support processes and ensure optimal facility operations. What's Needed? Experience in troubleshooting installation, fault finding, and repairs within a manufacturing or facilities environment. Ability to work proactively and independently, managing multiple assignments while meeting deadlines. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with peers, management, and cross-functional teams. Ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation in English. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a structured manufacturing environment. What's in it for me?
