Work Environment

The clinic operates on an onsite basis, ensuring a hands-on approach to patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, discussing their goals, limitations, and treatment preferences.
• Design and implement personalized care plans that outline specific physical therapy interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Administer a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Manage a personalized patient caseload, ensuring adequate one-on-one time to foster strong therapeutic relationships.
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises, encouraging active participation in their rehabilitation.
• Use electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, for precise documentation and progress tracking.
• Regularly assess and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the clinic to create holistic care strategies.
• Participate in ongoing education to stay updated with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
• Contribute to team discussions, sharing insights from patient interactions to improve clinic processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults seeking rehabilitation for chronic pain and mobility issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current and active Physical Therapist license in Virginia without any sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practice in physical therapy.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR, particularly WebPT, for patient documentation and tracking.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing effective exercise rehabilitation programs.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, particularly in sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation, is preferred.
• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities and treatment approaches aligned with best practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
