Human Resources Business PartnerMicrochip Technology is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Houston, TX office. The HRBP will provide ongoing support to business leaders and employees while working to advance business goals and strengthen the culture and values at Microchip Technology. This is an on-site position and requires working in the office five days per week.At Microchip employees are our greatest strength!Responsibilities:Effectively manage day-to-day HR activities and administrative responsibilities, ensuring timely and accurate execution of HR processes and documentationPartner closely with leaders to understand business goals and deliver HR solutions that support both people and performanceProvide guidance, coaching, and HR support across assigned teamsSupport full-cycle recruiting activities, including creating and posting requisitions, sourcing and interviewing candidates, extending and negotiating offers, onboarding new hires, process I-9/EVerify, and maintaining accurate documentation to support reporting requirements and OFCCP complianceManage employee relations matters, including conducting fair, thorough, and confidential investigationsSupport and process terminations and conduct employee exit interviewsSupport immigration-related processes and employee supportSupport Affirmative Action compliance efforts and participate in community outreach initiativesSupport benefit open enrollment and wellness initiatives as well as answer questions regarding benefits, qualifying life events, and leave of absenceMaintain accurate and compliant HR records across personnel files and HRIS systemsPerform other duties and projects as assignedRequirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field with 2+ years of prior experience as an HR Business PartnerStrong working knowledge of performance management processesExperience with U.S. immigration processesExperience with HRIS and ATS platforms, such as WorkdayProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and good judgmentStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsCommitment to confidentiality and ethical HR practicesAbility to thrive in a fast-moving environment and adapt to changing prioritiesEffective listening and communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision, and drive tasks and projects to completionPreferred Qualifications:Proven experience supporting technical or engineering teams, ideally within the semiconductor industryProfessional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)Experience with Workday and Workday RecruitmentExperience supporting Affirmative Action initiativesThis position is not eligible for Microchip immigration sponsorship.Travel Time:0% - 25%Physical Attributes:Bending at Waist, Carrying, Feeling, Handling, Hearing, Kneeling, Lifting, Reaching, Seeing, Stooping, Talking, Works Around OthersPhysical Requirements:10% Standing, 10% Walking, 80% Sitting, 100% Inside-MF 8-5PMMicrochip Technology Inc is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
