Phlebotomist Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist Float for its Linthicum, Maryland location to perform blood collections across multiple clinical sites. This role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques, specimen processing, data entry, and patient service with a flexible schedule including early mornings and rotating Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other diagnostic purposes
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
- Process billing information and collect patient payments as required
- Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- At least 21 years of age
- Full COVID-19 vaccination or qualifying exemption
