Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Family Law and Divorce Attorney to join our legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent law school graduate or newly licensed attorney looking to handle litigation, negotiation, and client counseling skills in a dynamic family law practice. The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, eager to learn, and passionate about helping clients through some of life's most challenging transitions. Responsibilities Oversee family law and divorce cases from onset through resolution. Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, settlement agreements, and court filings. Attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments. Review and organize case files, evidence, and financial documents. Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with court deadlines. Have a strong understanding of state family law statutes and procedures. Qualifications Required Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio or awaiting bar results with eligibility for licensure. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Professional demeanor and commitment to client service. Preferred Family law clinic, internship, clerkship, or moot court experience. Experience drafting legal documents. Familiarity with legal research platforms.
