Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $21.86 / Hour Job Schedule Thur 05:30 PM - 04:00 AM Sun 05:30 PM - 04:00 AM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to visitors, residents, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of public areas, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to established procedures. Respond to incidents, public-service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to supervisors and authorized site representatives. Minimum Requirements Possess at least three years of security-related, military, or law enforcement experience, or an associate’s degree in criminal justice. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and a baton is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
