Job Overview:

We are looking for an energetic, self-directed, and organized Development (Grants) Coordinator Assistant to coordinate the creation and research and applications for grants for Human Health Project (HHP). The Development Coordinator Assistant will be tasked with assisting with coordinating all aspects of grant research, application and follow up. You will play a pivotal role in growing the funding of our organization and connecting with thought leaders in the health literacy community.

Ideal candidates for this position should be creative and web savvy. Ideally, the outstanding Development Coordinator Assistant should have some (but this is not an essential requirement) knowledge of the life cycle of not for profit development and understand the importance of maintaining organized records.

Development Coordinator Assistant Responsibilities:

• Work with team members across HHP to determine future grant applications
• Assist in the management of the recruitment and work of grant writer volunteers
• Assist with weekly team calls agreeing deliverables with team members
• Assist in the liaison with the programs and other key HHP teams in relation to their funding needs.
• Manage the grant application life cycle

Online Development Coordinator Assistant Requirements:

• Some understanding of the development/grants landscape (not essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Firm grasp of business communications etiquette.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
