Job Description
Duties
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:
- Recording financial transactions using accounting software
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts receivable and accounts payable records
- Reconciling bank statements and credit card statements
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Assisting with financial report preparation
- Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Strong understanding of governmental accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency with accounting software
- Solid knowledge of financial procedures and concepts
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
