Human Resources Manager

Connect Search is partnering with a growing organization in the Houston market to identify an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership opportunity for an HR professional who brings deep expertise in benefits administration and employee relations and enjoys serving as a trusted partner to both employees and senior leadership. What You’ll Do: Lead the administration and continuous improvement of company-wide benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits Manage broker, carrier, and third-party administrator relationships, including renewals and vendor performance Oversee annual open enrollment and employee benefits communications Ensure compliance with ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, and applicable state leave laws Partner with Payroll and Finance on deductions, reporting, and reconciliations Serve as a key point of contact for complex employee relations matters Conduct and document workplace investigations involving complaints, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violations Advise leadership on performance management, corrective action, and terminations Coach and develop HR team members while helping strengthen HR policies, processes, and overall employee experience Partner with senior leadership on HR initiatives, risk management, and special projects What We’re Looking For: 10+ years of progressive HR experience Strong background in both benefits administration and employee relations Experience supporting a multi-state and/or complex organization Prior experience managing or mentoring HR staff Strong knowledge of employment regulations and HR best practices ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree and SHRM-CP/PHR preferred Ability to travel up to 25% South Houston | 100% On-site This could be a great opportunity for an experienced HR leader looking for a role where they can stay hands-on while having meaningful influence across the organization. #J-18808-Ljbffr Connect Search, LLC
