Geography Teacher

We are looking for a Geography Teacher for an international school in Beijing. This is position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.About the schoolThis is a K-12 school located in Haidian, and consists of an international school for foreigners' children, a kindergarten, and a bilingual school. The campus covers a built-up area of 162,000 square meters and includes a 400-meter track, professional theater, multi-purpose hall, kindergarten, student dormitory buildings, faculty dormitory buildings, several sports facilities and libraries.Job ResponsibilitiesTeach the subject of Geography to high school students, following the A-level curriculum framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experiencePrepare lessons, assessments and learning materials that support students’ academic progress and subject understandingMonitor and assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support students in reaching their learning goalsMaintain regular and positive communication with parents regarding student progress, learning needs and overall developmentSupport students’ daily development by promoting positive behaviour, strong study habits and a respectful classroom environmentCreate a supportive and well-managed classroom culture that encourages participation, responsibility and academic growthWork closely with other teachers and school staff to support students’ academic and emotional developmentParticipate actively in school activities, meetings, events and field trips, while contributing to a positive and collaborative school atmosphereHandle student issues appropriately and report any major concerns to the school in a timely mannerJob requirementsBachelor degree or above in the related subjectTeaching certificateTwo or more years teaching experience in the subjectExcellent communications skills Salary and benefitsMonthly salary 29,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualificationsMonthly housing allowance of 7,000 RMBRelocation Allowance: From outside China 10,000 RMB, plus 5,000 per eligible dependentFlight/Train Ticket: Single trip air/train ticket to Beijing for staff and eligible dependents at the beginning of the contractHome -school flight benefit: Up to 10,000 RMB for single staff; Up to 20,000 RMB for staff with eligible dependents.Supplemental Medical Insurance: Health insurance: up to 20,000 RMB for staff.
