Extrusion Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Extrusion Machine Operator (2nd Shift) Triumvirate Environmental is seeking an onsite Machine Operator for our Pennsylvania recycling operation. This position reports to Shift Supervisor. Working hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role requires a self‑sufficient, safety‑oriented individual who can operate and maintain several types of plastic extrusion machines. Essential Responsibilities Learn to operate different types of plastic extrusion machines. Set up and monitor extrusion machines to meet quota and quality specifications. Apply strong understanding of quality control. Work efficiently and productively. Multi‑task as required. Use basic and power hand tools. Stack material safely and efficiently. Understand OSHA regulations and Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices. Respectfully build working relationships with co‑workers. Perform regular/daily cleaning of work area and tools. Successfully complete on‑the‑job training. Lift up to 50 lb repetitively. Operate a forklift. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Ability to operate large precision shop machinery. Strong aptitude in problem solving and process improvement. Articulate problems and solutions clearly. Demonstrate urgency and personal initiative in problem resolution. Self‑motivated and capable of managing stressful situations. Strong commitment to safety. Effective team collaboration. Openness to learning, adapting to new processes, and incorporating feedback. Lift 50 lb repetitively. Availability to work overtime. Safety–sensitive role. Reliable transportation. Eligibility to work in the United States without future sponsorship. Preferred Requirements Safety oriented. Forklift experience. Manufacturing experience. Detail oriented. Team player. Responsive to direction and criticism. Willingness to learn. Work Environment Manufacturing environment where hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel‑toed boots are required. Large facility (~100,000 sq ft). Seasonal temperature and weather variations. Frequent radio communication with operators and managers. Teamwork‑centered culture with over 100 employees.
