Family-owned since 1964, J.Brandes is a multi-line wholesale sales agency with a permanent showroom at Dallas Market Center. This is an established territory with existing customers, sales history, and significant opportunity for growth. This is a 1099, commission-based position for someone who enjoys being on the road, building long-term retailer relationships, developing new business, and running their territory like their own business. Description As a J.Brandes Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing business throughout your assigned South Texas territory. This is a true outside sales position. Our business is built on face-to-face relationships with retailers, and regular travel throughout the territory is an essential part of the role. You will manage an existing customer base while actively developing new accounts. Responsibilities include making regular store visits, presenting multiple J.Brandes lines, writing orders, generating reorder business, prospecting for new accounts, and maintaining consistent follow-up with customers. Our reps are expected to know their territory and their customers. That means understanding what is selling, recognizing opportunities within existing accounts, identifying retailers we should be doing business with, and helping buyers find products that make sense for their stores. Representatives also work closely with our Dallas showroom and vendor partners, participate in product training, schedule buyer appointments for market, and work major Dallas Market events with the J.Brandes team. J.Brandes provides an established account base, customer and sales history, a strong multi-line package, MarketTime order-writing tools, vendor training, leads, showroom support, and a permanent presence at Dallas Market Center. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with uncapped commission earning potential.
