Hardscape & Landscape Crew Leader

Location: Work is based out of our West Chester, PA location and includes travel to client properties throughout Chester County and surrounding areas.

We are looking for an experienced Hardscape & Landscape Crew Leader to lead field crews on landscape construction, hardscape, enhancement, and seasonal holiday decor projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on field skills who can guide a team, keep production moving, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Del Vacchio's quality standards. The right person will bring leadership, accountability, and a strong work ethic to every jobsite.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a small field crew on landscape, hardscape, and enhancement projects
• Assist with patios, retaining walls, walkways, outdoor living spaces, planting, grading, drainage, lighting, and seasonal decor work
• Read and follow project plans, instructions, schedules, and jobsite expectations
• Train and support crew members while maintaining quality and productivity standards
• Communicate clearly with managers, teammates, and clients when needed
• Ensure tools, equipment, materials, and jobsites are organized and used safely
• Identify issues in the field and help resolve them professionally and efficiently. 
• Support year-round work, including holiday decor installation and takedown during the seasonal period

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of landscape, hardscape, or related outdoor construction experience preferred
• Prior crew leadership, foreman, or senior field experience is strongly preferred
• Strong hardscape experience is highly valued; masonry, outdoor carpentry, lighting, drainage, or irrigation experience is a plus
• Able to work outdoors in all seasons and perform physically demanding work
• Dependable, hardworking, coachable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
• Must be able to reliably report to the West Chester, PA shop and assigned jobsites.
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, operate hand and power tools, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Pay: $30-$40 per hour, based on experience
