About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have strong accounts receivable experience, including proficiency with payment portals and SAGE 100 . This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage collections and payment processing efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments accurately and timely
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
• Manage and navigate various customer payment portals
• Generate invoices, statements, and account reports
• Work closely with customers regarding billing inquiries and collections
• Maintain accurate financial records within SAGE 100
• Review credit balances and process refunds when necessary
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve account issues
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
• Experience using SAGE 100 required
• Experience working with customer payment portals required
• Strong collections and account reconciliation experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
