Description: We are seeking an overnight CT Technologist to begin ASAP. This position requires the following to already be in hand at the time of applying: NYS License with IV Certification is mandatory. Experience operating Siemens equipment is required. Proficiency in performing both CT scans and X-rays is essential. The traveler must hold both ARRT R and ARRT CT certifications. Qualified candidates must be comfortable working night shifts. They should possess the necessary credentials and experience to support a low-volume, steady-paced orthopedic imaging setting. The normal work schedule is Midnight to 8:30 AM with a 30-minute lunch for Monday to Friday. For the first 2 weeks of the assignment, the traveler will report for day shift training. Once training is completed, the traveler will work their regular schedule. Daily caseload can be up to 20 patients; however, this number may be even less due to a low volume on the shift. The traveler will be working independently due to very low volume during this shift. The patient population includes pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The caseload will involve orthopedic exams performed either in an exam room setting or via portable equipment. The candidate may be rotated across multiple departments within the facility. Prior experience with portables and various X-ray and CT procedures is necessary. The candidate should have the ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds.
