Product Specialist Customer Service Representative

Location: Lakewood, NJ Type: Contract To Hire Compensation: $24/ hour Work Model: Onsite Hours: 8:30 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding product, product features, and troubleshooting
• Provide product information, installation support, and technical assistance to customers
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, diagnosing problems, and providing solutions
• Document customer interactions, including issues and resolutions, in the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Coordinate with the technical support team to escalate complex technical issues
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges in accordance with company policies
• Provide recommendations and guidance to customers on product selection and usage
• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and satisfaction is achieved
• Identify recurring customer concerns and suggest improvements to products or services
• Stay updated on new products and product developments to provide accurate information

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Experience: 1–2 years of customer service experience
• Technical support experience is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple customer requests and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
