Rhythm seeks an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our Global Medical Information team. This person will contribute to the overall Medical Information execution process for new launches, key data releases, support day‑to‑day medical information inquiries, and draft standard and custom response documents. This is a Global Scientific Communications position that reports to the Senior Director, Global Medical Information. Responsibilities And Duties Handles escalated inquiries from the Medical Information Contact Center, including custom response development or triaging as appropriate. Performs quality review of cases and responses for consistency and accuracy. Supports the development of FAQs and standard response letters (SRLs) to respond to unsolicited requests across US and Global needs. Possesses an understanding of the use and creation of innovative technology and database buildouts to identify new opportunities for dissemination of medical information. Provides training and support as needed to the vendor contact center and for ad hoc internal trainings. Supports and contributes to the development of Medical Information metrics, identifying trends, process improvement, and tracks performance against metrics to ensure operational efficiency. Reviews current medical information material and proactively creates new scientific responses to anticipated inquiries with the medical writing vendor for repository. Supports conference coverage, including medical information services and assistance with coverage of scientific sessions as needed. Creates strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues in the US and globally. Assists in building out the medical information contact center as required globally. Contributes to other Global Scientific Communications and Medical Information projects as needed. Qualifications And Skills BA/BS degree in a scientific field of study (Nurse or Pharmacist preferred). 5+ years of experience, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech global medical information. Experience with medical information–related document and customer management systems/databases (CRM). Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidance for Medical Affairs/Medical Information. Well‑organized with strong project management skills. Demonstrated ability to develop medical information materials or similar collateral. Prior history of managing multiple vendors is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal and external stakeholders. Understanding of drug development, medical terminology, medical writing, pharmacology, drug safety, and quality. Experience in obesity or rare disease is preferable. This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid‑work model. Candidates must be willing and able to work in the Boston office as required by their department and business needs. This role may involve some travel. The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 – $165,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. The role may also be eligible for benefits and other compensation such as restricted stock units.
