Senior People Operations Generalist

Core ResponsibilitiesEmployee & Contractor LifecycleOwn onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and welcoming experience.Manage contractor lifecycle logistics, access provisioning, documentation, and exits.Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee and contractor records and documentationRecruitment & Talent AcquisitionOwn full-cycle recruiting for employee and contractor positions, from job posting through offer stageSource, screen, and evaluate candidates, conducting initial interviews and recommending qualified candidates for further considerationCoordinate and facilitate interview processes, candidate communications, and hiring logisticsPresent candidate recommendations and hiring updates to the Director for review and approval at key stages of the hiring processPrepare offer details and onboarding coordination following final hiring approvalMaintain a positive candidate experience and ensure timely communication throughout the recruiting processBenefits & 401(k) AdministrationPartner with Director to administer health benefits and retirement plans.Support Open Enrollment communications and execution.Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and support.People Systems & HRISOwn employee and contractor data within the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and integrityManage updates, audits, and reporting as neededRespond to employee HR inquiries with clarity and discretion.Troubleshoot issues and improve data processes over timeCompliance SupportSupport compliance with federal and state employment requirements by maintaining accurate records and documentationAssist with compliance-related tasks such as I-9 verification, audits, and required updates to employee recordsHelp ensure policies and practices align with basic compliance standards across a distributed, multi-state teamFlag potential compliance risks or gaps to the Director and support resolution as neededInternal CommunicationsDraft and distribute clear, professional company-wide communications related to People Ops programs and updatesPartner with leadership on People Ops messaging as neededLogistics & Operations SupportManage company swag ordering and distributionSupport travel coordination and company events as neededQualifications47+ years of experience in a People Operations or HR Generalist roleDemonstrated ability to own and manage core People Ops processes independentlyExperience maintaining HR systems and improving workflowsStrong accuracy and follow-through across sensitive data and processesClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information and navigate employee matters appropriatelyExperience recruiting and managing a full-cycle recruiting processPreferredExposure to multi-state employment environments and familiarity with state-specific compliance considerations (e.g., leave laws, wage and hour basics)Experience working in a remote environment and/or agency settingFamiliarity with HRIS systems and project management tools to support HR operations and workflow management (e.g., Gusto, Asana, or similar platforms)Why Join ZGMPartner closely with leadership in a trusted, high-impact roleOwn core People Operations work that directly supports the teamWork in a flexible, agency environment with room to shape processesContribute to a growing organization without heavy bureaucracyBenefitsAt Zero Gravity Marketing, we offer competitive compensation packages, opportunities for professional growth and development, a vibrant company culture, and a supportive team environment where your contributions are valued and recognized.If you are passionate about HR and operations management and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for the People & Operations Manager position and join our team of digital marketing enthusiasts dedicated to making a difference.To apply, please submit your resume and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.
