Work Environment

You will work closely with a skilled team of physical therapists, administrative staff, and support personnel dedicated to creating a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement personalized treatment programs for pediatric patients referred by physicians, addressing multiple modalities including orthopedic, neurologic, and sports medicine concerns.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality care, focusing on achieving key performance indicators and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care in the clinic and patients' homes, using techniques designed to produce measurable improvements in function per the physician's care plan.
• Consult and educate patients and their caregivers on appropriate exercises and wellness strategies to encourage engagement and compliance with therapeutic regimens.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service by fostering relationships with patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and contribute to ongoing clinic improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will focus primarily on pediatric patients, working closely with children who require orthopedic rehabilitation following injuries, surgeries, or other physical challenges. These patients often include young athletes and those recovering from developmental conditions. Your role will also involve engaging with their families to create a supportive network for optimal recovery.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy with a valid state license to practice in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, coupled with proficiency in word processing and digital health record management.
• A commitment to establishing strong therapeutic relationships with patients aimed at exceeding functional goals.
• A positive attitude towards building community relationships and a dedication to enhancing patient care outside of traditional settings.

Preferred Experience

While a doctorate in Physical Therapy and state licensure are required, experience in pediatric therapy, particularly in an orthopedic capacity, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with community resources and local healthcare systems will also enhance your capacity to support our patients effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, offering a competitive salary complemented by performance-based incentives.
