The Senior Digital Solution Engineer (DSE) will help win and execute technical decisions, educate customers and partners, and contribute to quarterly sales targets across assigned accounts. The position is based in multiple U.S. locations with up to 50% remote work, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams across Microsoft and partner ecosystems. Responsibilities and qualifications below reflect alignment with Microsoft AI, Agentic Solutions, and Azure AI capabilities to guide customers toward adopting Microsoft Intelligent AI, Data and Analytics platforms. Responsibilities Proactively own technical leadership and discussions with AI Native Startups, SDCs and AI Partners, leveraging Microsoft AI Foundry Frameworks, AI Agents, AI Models and AI tools to demonstrate demos, PoCs, and MVPs using consultative sales methodology and technical skills to influence partner vision; establish rules of engagement for extended teams. Develop a technical strategy that maps partner vision into actionable plans, resolves concerns, removes blockers, validates a business case for investment, and translates technology complexity into business impact. Collaborate with partner account teams and GTM partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation, guiding customers to choose the best Microsoft AI, Data, and Analytics platforms and win AI design decisions. Design AI Agentic solutions with multi-agent orchestration, applying architectural patterns and Microsoft Agentic frameworks to meet partner needs and win technical decisions. Lead and execute application management, deployment, scalability, and orchestration of containerized solutions using Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Functions, Docker, and cloud-native architectures, ensuring robust container operations across environments. Drive application integration and modernization initiatives (refactoring, re-architecting, re-building) using Microsoft AI and Agentic platforms to deliver scalable, intelligent solutions. Drive POCs and pilots to create momentum for MVPs, infusing AI technologies where appropriate; present AI Agentic solutions to win technical decisions. Enable cross-functional collaboration to drive AI design wins and support startup/SDC AI transformation, including AI Agentic applications and data foundations; identify new opportunities and hand off to the Digital Account Executive for pursuit. Act as trusted advisor, identifyStartup/SDC pain points, and design business cases with Microsoft partners to deliver Microsoft Intelligent Agents, Microsoft Fabric, Data and Analytics solutions, modernizing legacy data warehouses, enabling real-time analytics and end-to-end Agentic AI solutions. Be the Voice of Customer to share insights with Engineering to remove blockers and drive product improvements. Demonstrate knowledge of Azure security principles and practices, including identity and access management, scripting and automation for security processes; stay current with Azure security trends and best practices. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years of programming and software development experience with relevant AI tools and platforms (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, ML Studio, GitHub, CoPilot Studio, VS Code, Python, TensorFlow) and experience designing, developing, and deploying AI Agentic Solutions; OR equivalent experience. 2+ years experience with AI models & LLMs, covering end-to-end lifecycle (AI Ops, LLMOps, data prep, model design, training, inference, responsible AI and ethics). 1+ year experience building AI Agents with MCP & A2A protocols and multi-agent orchestration. 4+ years experience with containerized app management and orchestration (Azure Container Apps, AKS, Azure Functions, Docker, cloud-native architectures). 4+ years experience with application integrations and modernizations using Microsoft AI and Agentic platforms. Additional or preferred qualifications 4+ years Azure Cloud Solution Architect experience with Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (preferred) and related certifications. 4+ years experience delivering PoCs/Pilots, workshops, and customer events leading to Azure deployments and migrations. Experience with West Coast / Silicon Valley AI natives, startups, and SDCs. Experience working in fast-paced, agile pre-sales environments coordinating with accounts teams to win technical decisions. 4+ years experience with Azure migrations planning and execution, core design and infrastructure, security, networking, multi-cloud, and hybrid/on-premises databases. Strong cross-organizational collaboration skills to design optimal customer solutions; experience with Agentic AI, data infrastructures, and related migrations. Proficiency in cloud and hybrid/onsite environments with Agentic AI and related technologies.
