Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician

_*Reeves Specialty Services is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, highly skilled technician who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, and start up commercial HVAC equipment.This position is best suited for an experienced commercial technician who takes ownership of their work, communicates professionally with customers and project managers, and can diagnose problems correctly the first time.Responsibilities*_

* Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems
* Perform startup, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and service
* Diagnose electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigeration, and controls-related issues
* Service commercial rooftop units, split systems, make-up air units, exhaust systems, unit heaters, and related HVAC equipment
* Read wiring diagrams, mechanical plans, equipment submittals, and manufacturer documentation
* Perform refrigerant diagnostics and repairs
* Verify proper equipment operation after repairs and startup
* Identify additional repairs or deficiencies and clearly document findings
* Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, general contractors, and customers
* Complete service reports accurately and promptly
* Assist less-experienced technicians when necessary
* Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment

_*Qualifications*_

* Strong commercial HVAC service experience required
* Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
* Strong understanding of refrigeration and electrical systems
* Experience with commercial RTUs and make-up air equipment
* EPA certification required
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Ability to communicate professionally with customers and project teams
* Must have appropriate hand tools for the trade
* OSHA training is preferred
* Manufacturer startup and controls experience is a plus
