Training Analyst

Responsibilities Serve as an instructor for the Bureau of Professional Development and Communications within the Division of State Purchasing. Serve as a trainer for other state governmental entities’ employees in the procurement or contract management fields. Facilitate instructor‑led training courses in accordance with established guidelines for topics such as procurement, contract management, and negotiation. Manage certification rosters and databases. Assist in giving presentations and providing education on additional topics and materials to support the unit’s communications goals. Requirements Two years of experience instructing or facilitating classes using a variety of delivery methods. Experience delivering excellent customer service. Knowledge of State of Florida purchasing statutes and rules. Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license. Ability to lift boxes/materials that may weigh over 30 pounds. Ability to travel overnight. Preferred Qualifications: Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a business‑or‑related field. Demonstrated knowledge of Chapter 287 or Chapter 215, Florida Statutes. Certification as a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM), Florida Certified Contract Negotiator (FCCN), and Project Management Professional (PMP).
