Receiving Clerk - Mid-States Bolt & Screw Norton Shores, MI | Full-Time - Monday to Friday Position Summary Mid-States Bolt & Screw is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team at our Norton Shores location. This position plays an important role in ensuring incoming shipments are received accurately, organized properly, and processed efficiently to support our warehouse and customer operations. We are looking for someone with prior warehouse, receiving, shipping, or inventory experience, but we are also looking for an individual who is open to learning and adapting to our internal processes and procedures. The ideal candidate is coachable, reliable, and willing to grow with the company. Key Responsibilities Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage Verify quantities and match packing slips to purchase orders Label, organize, and stock incoming inventory Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records Communicate discrepancies or damaged materials to the appropriate departments Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly Maintain a clean and organized work environment Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and customer service teams Qualifications Previous receiving, warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus Basic computer and data entry skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to learn company procedures and follow established processes Ability to work independently and as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, full-time opportunity Training and support from an experienced team Opportunities for growth within the company Health and retirement benefits available About Mid-States Bolt & Screw Mid-States Bolt & Screw is a growing industrial fastener distributor focused on providing quality products and dependable service to customers across a variety of industries.
