• Experience: Prior adult cardiac and thoracic surgery experience required

What You'll Do

• Perform adult cardiac surgeries, including CABG and valve repair/replacement
• Conduct general thoracic procedures such as thoracostomies, tracheostomies, bronchoscopies, and lung biopsies
• Manage ICU care for high-risk cardiac and thoracic patients, including Impella support
• Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR and cath lab settings
• Collaborate with a focused anesthesia team and experienced ICU staff
• Document procedures using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in scheduled shifts and ensure optimal patient outcomes

What You Need

Required:

• Medical license valid in Kentucky
• Proven experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
• Ability to perform CABG, valve surgeries, and general thoracic procedures
• ICU management experience for high-risk patients

Preferred:

• Thoracic surgery experience
• Experience with Impella devices and structural heart procedures
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
