Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while serving clients at a Hospice Center established in Chesapeake, Virginia. Hours are flexible, with options for 4x10 or 5x8 shifts scheduled between 8 AM and 7 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized psychotherapy or counseling to clients, including individuals, groups, couples, and families, focusing on their unique circumstances and needs.

• Conduct thorough client interviews to gather comprehensive social, personal, environmental, and health information to inform treatment plans.
\n
• Assess and treat a variety of social, emotional, and mental health issues, leveraging evidence-based practices within your scope of practice.

• Develop and coordinate programs tailored to meet the social and emotional needs of clients, utilizing community resources as necessary.
\n
• Facilitate case management for cognitive, affective, and behavioral health challenges, including providing crisis intervention and appropriate referrals.

• Establish and nurture a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, and mutual acceptance with each client.
\n
• Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies, modifying approaches based on client feedback and progress.

• Document all client interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in case records per established protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Maintain a manageable caseload while keeping case documentation current and reflective of services rendered.

• Contribute to the team by executing additional assigned duties related to client care, advocacy, and organizational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time LCSW position offers a competitive salary between $85,000 and $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
