We are seeking a Senior Staff Consultant to perform services for a public sector clients transportation industry client. Services will surround accounting advisory activities and require experience with PeopleSoft software. The senior staff filling this position will serve as an experienced member of the team and will work directly with clients in the field, while providing guidance to staff.

We are seeking a Senior Staff Consultant to perform services for a public sector clients transportation industry client. Services will surround accounting advisory activities and require experience with PeopleSoft software. The senior staff filling this position will serve as an experienced member of the team and will work directly with clients in the field, while providing guidance to staff. Roles and responsibilities will include the following:

Job Summary:

• Assist with monthly/quarterly general ledger close processes
• Assist with reconciling general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers
• Assist with accounting software implementations and module configurations.
• Assist with developing queries and responding to user requests
• Work under the direct supervision and guidance of a Manager
• Weekly (part-time) travel to client sites and Crowe Office.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Governmental Accounting or Internal Audit experience preferred
• Experience with PeopleSoft software
• Understanding of typical business process flows
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Knowledge of GAAP, GASB, GAGAS preferred
• CPA or CIA eligible, CPA license preferred
