Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health, focusing on the frequency, intensity, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, considering their specific needs, therapeutic goals, and preferences.

• Utilize a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address client challenges effectively.

• Provide education to clients and their families on mood disorders, various treatment options, and self-care strategies to promote informed decision-making.

• Regularly monitor and track clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs of the client.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care and integrated treatment.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in the field of mood disorders to refine and enhance treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
