Job Title: Patient Registrar

Assignment Type: Contract (project-based through approximately end of October)

Pay: $19.00 – $20.00 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM, plus every other Saturday from 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

The Patient Registrar plays a key role in managing front desk operations and ensuring a smooth check-in process for patients. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle a steady flow of individuals while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients upon arrival and guide them through intake procedures
• Manage patient flow and direct individuals to appropriate service areas
• Gather and verify personal and insurance information
• Assist with required documentation, including forms related to screenings
• Enter and maintain accurate data in electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient and timely patient processing

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in medical front desk or patient registration preferred
• Strong background in customer service, ideally in a fast-paced setting
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (EPIC experience is a plus)
• Ability to multitask and remain organized under high patient volume
• Professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
