Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support patient care and clinical operations in a busy outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, be proficient with Epic EMR, and demonstrate excellent venipuncture abilities while providing high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP Accredited Program
• Current BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 Years of Medical Assistant Experience
• Epic EMR Experience Required
• Venipuncture Proficiency Required

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Obtain and record vital signs.
• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.
• Update patient demographics and medical information.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic EMR.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Float to affiliated Internal Medicine and Family Medicine clinics as needed.
